On Friday, December 2nd, fans we treated to an exciting game resulting in a 5-4 win for the Birds. At the 7:40 mark of the first period, Player of the Game Lucas Carson scored to signal a shower of 240 teddy bears onto the ice in front of a crowd of over 500 fans. Around 275 hats, mitts and socks were also collected with all of these items donated to the Wilmot Family Resource Centre. Special thanks to the Wilmot Wolverines U13LL yellow for coming to help with collecting the teddy bears on the ice. Lucas Carson’s 4-point game moved him into a tie for the overall points lead in the entire PJHL. Well done Lucas!
